Kolkata White River Tengra/ / Tyangra / Koori (River)

A very tasty version of the catfish / tengra/ tyangra. A favourite among Bengali. This is white colorer and mostly found in Ganges and its tributaries near Southern part of Bengal. Tangra is known to have multiple health benefits as it has Omega 3 fatty acid that keeps our hearts healthy, keeps a check on the Blood Pressure and also reduces the risk of certain types of Cancers. It also known to cure Arthritis.
